Do you listen to audiobooks for pleasure? You can listen via a PC or download the Libby app on your mobile and listen on the go.
The Knowledge and Library Service team in collaboration with Black Country Healthcare Libraries is providing access to a range of titles covering health and wellbeing, LGBTQ, easy fiction etc.
You can view the collection here.
You can borrow up to three audio books for two weeks and can access them via the Overdrive webpage or download to your device using the free Libby app.
To loan an audiobook you must be a registered member of the HeLM (Health Libraries West Midlands) scheme. This is your library registration. If you are not a current member please complete this online application form: - HeLM application form
Please ask a member of the Knowledge and Library Team to register your account for access to audiobooks. The system is called Overdrive.
You can listen via a PC or download the Library app via the Google Play Store or the App Store.
Link your library card to the Black Country library when setting up your Libby account. Any problems let us know - rwh-tr.belllibrary@nhs.net
Once you have received confirmation that your account has been linked you need to either download the LIbby App via the App Store or Google Play or you can access via a PC at https://libtyapp.com/shelf
Follow the set up instructions to add your library card to Libby. You must search for Black Country as the home library and you can start loaning and listening straightaway!
