Library Facilities

The Bell Library has a number of open access computers in the main library and in the ground floor computer suite. These are available 24/7. 2A printer is available connected to the organisation's print management system. Social distancing measures are in force.

There are study facilities available on the ground floor and a desk that contains multiple power sockets to enable charging of portable and mobile devices.

There are 2 vending machines available for use, one dispensing hot drinks the other vending crisps, chocolates and cold drinks.

Please note that due to governmental and Trust guidance the number of available PCs has been reduced for social distancing purposes.

The Computer Suite is now open from 8.30am until 4.20pm Monday to Friday.

Please follow this guidance when using the Computer Suite

  • A maximum of 6 people are allowed in the Computer Suite at any one.

  • You must be socially distanced at all times and chairs must not be moved from their respective positions.

  • The room must not be used for meetings.

  • Due to demand for access to PCs the use of laptops is discouraged and you should use the study tables in the main library as an alternative.

  • The window in the room must be kept open for ventilation.

  • Masks, covering mouth and nose, must be worn at all times and must be in line with Trust published guidelines.

  • If there is a fault with the PC then you must contact a member of the library team or leave a note. You must not attempt to repair the PC yourself.

The Library at Cannock Chase Hospital has a smalol number of computers and a study table available. A printer is available that is connected to the organisation's print management system.
